is an EDGY thriller Short Film (proof of concept) written for adaptation into a full length feature / Multi-episode Series.
The STORY of "DORMA" takes place in a near-dystopian future, with worlds colliding following the US's increased testing of WMD's & involvement in Iran. Now finding itself completely isolated from the rest of the world, former allies have joined together to invade and hold the US accountable. Within the middle of "God's Country", an ICE Detention Facility (DORMA DETENTION CAMP), is facing its last day of operation due to both escalating global pressure. Under the same sunrise, a defiant prison cabin from inside the camp (CABIN 4) harbors a suicide escape plan with no time left to hesitate. Led by a wise & tortured soul (Prisoner-47), CABIN 4's only way out is with help from within the camp.
the VISUAL style of "DORMA" blends the raw realism seen in "CHILDREN OF MEN" (2006), with the Stylized tone of "Inglourious Bastards" (2009).
